I hesitate to post this here, since I really have NOTHING yet, and probably won't have anything (except the tank) until next year.

Please don't post anything here, so we can keep the thread clean -- besides, I can't answer any questions since there's nothing in the tank yet, and no equipment yet either. And no work will be done (except maybe a leak test?) until January...

EDIT: Additional info

Tank is (outside dimensions) 96x30x30. In theory, 375 gallons (but less, because of glass thickness).

Calfo overflow is 4" from the top, so that's less another 40+ gallons less.

Glass is 3/4" thick, Asahi Ultra Clear Glass. Made/assembled by BioResearch (would have gone to Mang Ramon, but he couldn't source the glass daw).

Sump has no partitions (none of those anti-bubble thingies -- I have other plans anyway, and bubble traps aren't in the plans). Basically, sump is just one big tank with no partitions.

EDIT: Sump is 72L x 20W x 18H, 1/2" glass.

DSBs and Plenum based NNRs will be in plastic containers inside the sump (and that will effectively be the partitions). Skimmer (if any) will be in a plastic container, too (one of those "familia" containers -- kasi biling-bili ko yung advertisement ni Juday, eh! Haha!). Skimmer will be in that container to maintain water level (unless I get an external one).

Development will be slow, because Jackryan's thread about cameras revived my interest in them. And I still have to get my new bike wheels. Too many hobbies... <sigh>

2" union fittings already in place. Aside from that, no more developments until next year (going out of town with the family, and after new year na ulit)...
