I've used phosguard for several months now and so far, no problem with it. Phosphates are undetectable eversince. Upside, no need for additional equipment, i.e. reactors. Downside lang is you must have a phosphate test kit and keep on testing every 2 weeks or so. Once you see na tumataas ang reading, time to change the phosguard. I have not changed for more than a month now.
As far as the aluminum issue, lahat ng nabasa ko all pointed na magkakaroon ka lang nito if you go over the recommended dosage ng phosguard. And pag sinabi na over, as in overdose talaga, like using the whole 1liter for a 5g nano. Isa pang possible cause ng aluminum toxicity if you use phosguard in a reactor, which is a no no.
