How many times and when do you feed your fish?

You do not need to buy frozen foods there. Puree some mussels, oysters, fresh shrimps, fresh fish and some nori and freeze them in ice cube trays. Add some selcon or hufa if you have some and also some cyclopeeze. Thaw a cube or two with some aquarium water and use an eye dropper to target feed your corals at lights out.

Once your inline refugium is going you will be feeding less and less. Migrating Zoo planktons from your refugium will feed your fishes and corals.

Zooplanktons, like copepods and anthropods, are already in your aquarium, they came with the live rocks and the live sand. The refugium just gives them a breeding ground without predators.

Refugiums zooplanktons allows you to keep animals that are almost impossible to feed with dead foods. A mandarin dragonet, for example, eats only live foods and are among those hard to feed animals unless you have a refugium or a minimum of 100 gal tank filled with live rocks.
