mandarin goby...

i've read quite a few articles about mandarin goby and been fascinated by these fishes. i just want to have some opinions/tips from the masters around here... tnx!

Im no master, but IME you need an established tank with pods, only best keep with only 1 species or both female and male...pag may scooter ka na species aawayin lng ng mandarin yan.

Been keeping spotted mandarin for about 6 months...

Good luck sir...maganda sila tignan sa tank talaga. so far sa cartimar available naman ang green mandarin pero bihira dun is yung red and spotted mandarin.

Dalawa dati ang mandarin ko.
Bigla na lang namatay yung isa ng walang dahilan.
Pero hinala ko nadaganan ng LR yun nung naglagay ako ng corals.

Dapat marami ka ng pods sa tank.
Maganda sila tignan, para daw silang bird na lumilipad pag lumalangoy sabi ng anak ko.
Tsaka tuka lang tuka sa salamin at mga LR.

I have a mandarin in my tank and its pretty fat. It doesnt eat any of the pellets or frozen food i feed my fish but it goes around the rocks and snacks on pods the whole day. Not that hard to keep IMO. Just wait maybe a month after you cycle and your pods should be more than enough to feed the mandarin!

dapat maraming live rocks sa sump tank para dun manganak ang pods then madala sa main tank then keep only 1 and no medication baka kasi mamatay pods mo susunod na ang mandarin pag wala nang pods hope this helps
