ask lang.... sa 50 gal. standard size tank balak ko maglagay ng 6-8 white 3-6blue or rb 2-3 red and 2-3 na green kung me available... di ko lang alam lakas ng lights na ito di kaya sumobra naman ang lakas nun para sa 50gal? quite interesting kasi pwde ka magtanggal kabit kung nagsawa ka na sa style na gusto mo eh.

@michuelo kung yan lang yung gagamitin mo na ilaw, sakto lang yan. Baka nga kulangin pa kung gusto mo talaga ng maliwanag na tank. Problema sa spotlights sobrang sikip ng light spread dahil sa lens na rin at dahil siksik yung LEDs.

Eto yung tank ng original poster ng DIY LED spotlights, 55 gallons yung tank niya, halos parehas lang ng dimensions ng 50.

Around 30x3 watt bulbs ang ginamit niya.

Eto naman yung ginamit ni roy_gt sa tank niya bago niya palitan ng AI yung ilaw niya:

Yung color temperature actually depende sa magiging LED configuration mo... and actually useless metric siya pagdating sa pagsukat ng efficacy ng LEDs. More on PAR or Spectrum + Illumination ang kadalasang gamit.

Dun sa original na guide ni tinygiant, ang formula niya kung gagamit ka ng 3x1w spotlights ay Tank length divided by 2 minus 1. Kung malapad yung tank mo - say 15-18", kakailanganin mo ng 2 rows para mailawan lahat ng area sa tank.

Sa 20l (5 gallons?) mga 4-5 siguro na 3w solb ka na, depende sa aalagaan mo.

Yung sa ICTech hindi, bro. Generic non-dimmable drivers lang kasi gamit tsaka 1w each lang yung diodes. Pero may mga nabibili sa ebay na dimmable fixtures. Pwede ring MR16 yung saksakan.

2-3 na 7-12w na E27 PAR38 o kaya naman 2 rows ng E27 na 4-5w spotlights. Pwede rin namang mas konti, depende na lang din sayo.

ask ko lang if meron bang nabibili GU10 4-1w bulbs with 40 or 60 degrees optic?

I'm thinking mas ok 60degrees para mas spread out yun light, so mas lesser yun number of bulbs na kailangan mo.

May mga GU10 at MR16 din sa Raon, kaso 30-degree optics lang talaga ang available kahit sa IC Tech. Yung mga lens na 45-60 degrees mabibili sa ebay siguro wala pang 100 petot isa. :) Walang tax yun since maliit lang yung parcel.
