wla parehas lang china leds...

eto nag test rin ako ng comparison ng blues... sana makatulong yung iba sa pag pili ng mas ok na blue....

eto yung royal blue....
Image

eto yung blue naman...
Image

royal blue...
Image

and blue again...
Image

what do you guys think?

edit: mali bili ko na arctic silver... need ko nung thermal adhesive and not the thermal compound!
lugi ng 400 pesos T_T

S> Arctic Silver 5 thermal compound
rfs> wrong item bought
price:400 pesos unused

Update:
My Led Parts are complete and ready for hard core DIY! Per fixture ill be using 3 LED Drivers that can power 12 LEDs but for safety measures ill just be using 10 LEDs per driver.. so thats a total of 30 LEDS= 90 watts... im planning on having 2... ill work on the next one after i completed this one.... im also using 3 heatsinks 14 inches long per heatsink
Image

Sand papered the Heatsink to remove scratches..
Image
Image

Measured the correct distance of the LEDs and marked it in front of the heatsink using a pencil...
in my setup the distance between LEDs in Horizontal is 2.2 inches and Vertical is around 1.9 inches
Image

Drilled some holes for the wiring at the back...
Image
Image

Used a vice grip to secure the heatsinks together... placed a 1/8 flatbar aluminum at hte back of the heatsink to join the 3 heatsinks together...
Image
I used a 5/32 Rivet and a 5/32 Drill bit to punch the holes for the rivets
Image
Image
More Rigid now...
Image

I marked the holes for the wires on the front side of the heatsink... I plan to place all wires in series at the back to make it look neat...
Image
Image

Finally all Drilling is over.... i did another run of sand paper.. first i used a 300 particle sand paper to remove the scratches from the previous labor done... next i used a 600 particle sandpaper to give it more of a shiny finish...
Image
Image

pwede ko na ipahinga kamay ko sa pagbabarena!
Image

Dapat sa monday pa ito eh kaya lang excited at di makatulog kasi sobrang excited sa ganda ng ginawa...

anyway... so ayan dinikit ko na yung LEDs using Arctic Silver Thermal Adhesive... i decided to go with the adhesive para medyo worry free.... natatakot ako sa paste baka matanggal or gumalaw tapos mapabayaan eh tapos masira yung ilaw...

Di pa ako natutulog haha! idlip ako 1 hour then punta sa in-laws muna...
Monday ang Wiring and Testing ng fixture... thanks for reading..

minor setback:

sakit ulo ko sa wiring... nag try muna ako mag wire ng 10 blues... nagtataka ako 7 lang umiilaw.... yung other 3 ayaw... and nasa gitna pa yung ayaw umilaw 1st to 6th umiilaw pati yung 10th.. yung 7th to 9th ayaw umilaw tinatroubleshoot ko para ma isolate ang problema... halos lahat triny ko na iresolder... until pinutol ko yung positive ng 7th led... ayun umiilaw pa rin yung 10th... probably grounded... inayos ko contacts niya maganda naman pagkaka solder... bukas mag series ako ng 7 at pag umiilaw tatanggalin ko isa tapos i jumper ko siya to test the others para 7-7-7 pero last one ang iibahin ko na led... sakit din ng ulo ko haha! di ko pa sila natest lahat so baka mamaya yun ang problem... mag update ako ulit pag di na busy... dami ko rin nilalakad kasi pupunta ako china end of november.. huhuhu... sagabal trabaho sa hobby na to!
