DIY LED Update:90w LED Electrical Done page 5

To start things right i just made a sketch of my plans on my future DIY LED Fixtures to be placed in my 75 gal Display Tank. Although i need more to read about specs/ and other electrical stuff.. i just made some sketches of my plans... wala lang gusto ko lang i share hehe halos buong araw ko ito ginagawa eh...

Also did the canvassing already... but i still think i need your help guys...

anyway heres the draft for my LED...

walang measurements yung drawing pero its for a 4 feet / 75 gallon tank













What i need for now is to find some more suppliers of:
1. 3w led (so far 140 pesos per 3w for 30 pcs)
2. Acrylic Glass Supplier (so far P2,480 for 4ft x 6ft x 4mm black)
3. HeatSink (108 pesos for a 5x12 inch long heatsink but the fins are few)
4. LED Driver (30w - 680, 45w - 980, 60w - 1,300 pag cheaper mag diy pls help me)

So far lahat ito available locally yung leds lang galing sa sulit.com gusto ko maghanap ng mas mura... plan ko mag lagay ng ilang cree LED kung kaya pero baka sa future ko siya i add on... sa ngayon eto lang muna...
aim ko at least below 7-8k ang cost ng isang fixture... mahal initial cost ko kasi may sobra sa ibang materials like yung acrylic... pero ang 4x6 feet estimate ko ay good for my 2 units na siya...

tanong: para san yung allowance sa paligid ng led fixture? bakit hindi na lang sagad yung housing sa front, back and sides ng leds? or at least 1/4" yung space sa paligid nya para hindi bulky tignan...

san ka nakakuha ng heatsink na mura? yung aking 140 per foot eh.. sa alonzo na yun..

alam ko 168 sa deeco yung 1 ft.. mahal sa deeco eh.. sa alonzo ako bumibili kasi pwede kahit anong haba sa kanila..

sino naman nagsabi na mas mabilis magdissipate yung black? parang ang labo naman nun..

parang walang sense yung black ng mas hindi magdissipate pag may fan.. kasi yung heat kinukuha lang naman nung heatsink para maspread sa bigger surface area para marelease sa atmosphere yung init.. through heat transfer.. the colder the atmospheric air, the faster the heat transfer.. kung may fan, mas mabilis mareplace yung hot air na nakadikit sa heatsink... kaya mas malamig dapat siya.. sa alonzo meron heatsink na buo pero overkill.. malaki masyado.. kaya lahat ng heatsink na gamit ko yung katulad ng sa deeco..

i think tama naman na yung black paint is a kind of insulation.. pero still, a fan would greatly reduce the temp regardless of the color of the heatsink.. maging black, brown, white, yellow, blue o red pa man yan.. ang laki ng difference kung may fan..
