bro kung mapapansin mo yun liwanag ng ilaw mo sa ats sa ibaba ng DT, yun gitna lang ng screen ang may ilaw that means yun lang ang kakapitan ng algae maliit na parte lang pero ang laki ng screen mo diba the key is more light more algae and more flow more nutrients running sa screen mas marami icoconvert na food ang algae... obserbahan mo na muna for now then keep it posted...

IME ang size ng screen ko is 7x10 inches.. i lighted each side with 2pcs 20watts cfl.. so i have 80watts total sa ats then my pump is just 2000lph... and works for me.. bringing down my NO3 and PO4 to "0" according to API test kit...although i have mangroves

but i think the ats is doing the big part there lalo na pag green algae na ang kumakapit sa screen.. :mrgreen:

ganyan din yung algae ko nung first month... now im getting the dark green algae.... im cleaning my screen every 3-4 days ever since nung brown siya and now its dark green (looks like oily dark green).. im still waiting for my light green hair algae..... hopefully in a month ill have that....

use warm white lights by the way...
