Day 20

A minor leak was found in the overflow drain. The pipe will be resealed and an additional layer of resin will be laid. Other than that, there were no other leaks found...


leak was from here. i had to remove the sump ceiling to reseal the pipe again. such a hassle...


good thing there were no other leaks...

i will be installing the cabinet doors today after the leak repair. will also install the sockets and wiring of the hood. more updates later. thanks for viewing.

Day 21

Repair of the pipe leak was successful. The tank was only filled at 1/4 just to test the leak that was found yesterday.

at 1 pm...




as of 9:30 pm. still no leaks and the floor is still dry. thank God.








the hood is almost done and the tank will be ready by wednesday. thanks for viewing.

sir, nice tank especially yung mga cabinets it looks good.. suggestion lang sir, if you fill only 1/4 of the tank you would not know pa rin if succesful yung leak test mo. it make a big difference kasi sir if you fill it full. diba yung pressure/weight ng 1/4 filled tank compared dun sa full tank mag kaiba eh.. so the more water or full yung tank it gives more pressure or tensions dun sa mga joints ng surface and that you will know 100% no leak.. correct me if im wrong sir... sayang kc yung project mo sir.. ang ganda pa naman...

but overall, nice project pa rin!

Day 22

As sir RRandy and sir Phantom have pointed out, there is definitely a big difference in water pressure between a 1/4-filled tank and a filled tank... that was my concern too yesterday. so nung nasiguro ko na nawala na talagang leak yung pipe, i decided to call on the water delivery this morning and had the tank filled. glad the tank held up and there were no further leaks.

i used a SQ2200 powerhead para makita yung water movement sa pic pero parang walang silbi.

After a little over three weeks the tank was finally done and was picked up this morning...
