Hi! im just new here and new to the hobby. I have observed that one of my rocks has something like a sponge, and they keep on growing. What is it?

is it a sponge? if it is, then its ok. maybe you can show a pic, and your tank specs too so the people can help

i just use hydrometer for checking water parameters, dont know how to use the test kits. All of my saltwater set-ups were bought at the cartimar including the fishes.

nako, negative yun sir. dapat kung 3 months na ngayon yan, ngayon ka pa lang naglalagay ng fish mo. tpos foam ang laman ng overhead mo, alisin mo muna yung overhead mo. kung makakapaglagay ka ng sump mas ok.

oo nga e, excited lang kasi nung napadaan sa cartimar. Actually kaka bili ko na naman ng new fish kasi pa isa isang namamatay, pero yung isang clownfish ko buhay pa hanggang ngayon, original pa yun. Nag prepare ako ng saltmix mag 1 month na ngayun yon, and balak ko ng palitan ang tubig as in start from 0 ulit.
