How to increase salinity

my water level is 1.017 how can i increase salinity...
ano ba yung normal na pagadd ng salt -mix.. naglagay kse ako ng saltmix pero parang.. di tumataas.. kahit na cycle na sya..

medyo madami dami na rin yung nilagay ko...

pwede pang top off mo ay saltwater din or put the saltmix and water in a seperate container with a higher salinity then use for water changes, assuming there are still no livestock in the tank. never put saltmix directly in the tank.

yep ang ginawa ko.. kumuha ako ng water sa aqua ko then mix ko ng Saltmix yung nasa Yellow na bag..
after ma dissolve nilagay ko ulit sa aqua.. then cycle for 1 hour then tingnan ko .. reading still the same..

Do not increase your salinity too fast, too soon, unless there is no inhabitants yet.

ok lng ba na everyday add ako ng saltmix to increase my salinity or
anong interval/frequency kelangan ko mag add. to meet the normal salinity..

I just noticed that you're still cyling so it is ok to increase the salinity to the level you want while it has no fishes or inverts. Normally, you would need to age the newly mixed water and synthetic ocean salt overnight along with a powerhead or an aerator before adding to a stocked tank.

may arrow-type na hydrometer. mura lang yun, mga P250 yata? those tube-type na inilulugog are inaccurate. ok sa fowlr, but for reef, you have to be more precise
