Hi Fellow Reefers. It has been 3days already since I started a mini cycling for my 50gallon tank. 60% of Instant Ocean saltmix was used together with 40% of NSW.

Last saturday, after exactly 2 weeks of mini cycling, I finally decided to transfer some LS from

my various tanks. Too many tanks to attend to just eats up all my time

Update:

Bought some LS from Davvy last sunday & all are doing fine except for one major thing..... GHA!

Having trouble for a week now with those pesky algae & has started dosing MB7 since last week.

Nitrate level went down abit to 40ppm from 80. Phosphate is around 0.5 since tank started cycling.

Like to post some pictures but Algae growth is too much that it would'nt look nice enough for it

to be viewed.

bro IME, GHA is part of the lifecycle of a new tank.. meron yan hindi mawawala.. if you keep your water parameters in the best level.. mawawala na lang yan eventually..

i dont know it turbos eat GHA.. just maintain good water quality, mawawala din yun.. try using vodka.. ok din vodka.. basta dapat maganda yung skimmer mo..

nice tank. go buy a lawnmower bleny it helps when it comes to GHA hehe.... i have one in my tank and wala na me GHA and sobrang takaw nun hehe..
