Update:

Tank is nearly on it's 8th week of cycling. Tested parameters last night & Nitrate has gone up again

to 80ppm from 40 last week.... :roll:

To dose or not to dose :?:

I passed by Aquareef's house last weekend to check the status of his tanks, he is really taking it slow... good job!

just wait for another 2 weeks before we add bio-pellets, No3 might still go down :wink:

Btw, I noticed in the last photo, there is a (singer) oil small container... maybe you want to take that out so that an accidental spill won't happen...

@ Ryan: Thanks Buddy! had a 20% water change last week. Tested parameters last night, Nitrate reading was 80! :shock:

from 20ppm. Think because of some new LS I added :roll:

Will do a WC again tomorrow

Been very busy & stressed out these past 2 weeks. Wifey gave birth to our daughter via CS prematurely. My Flame Angel was the 1st one to go when we checked out from the hospital

The PBT followed right after 2days

Both of them have had white spots on & off since introducing them more than 3 weeks ago. I thought as long as they are feeding well, they'll survive without any treatment. Doing weekly WC but to no avail. Now, my onyx is also infected & am afraid the picasso would also be next :roll:

Onyx clown is history

maid saw it on the floor early this morning, she was not able to put it back into the tank coz it was already swarmed with ants. Guess too much stress from white spots made it jump over.

@blackwidow: Thank you! was'nt able to save the onyx

only the picasso clown is left but has recovered :roll:

clean & clear as it can be but nitrates is still on the high side :oops:
