Ecotech vortech mp10 on 1/2 inch glass

ariel, parang masyadong risky yan.. may nabasa ako na sa iba pwede pero minsan nahuhulog un parang motor nya sa likod. go for mp40 nalang

i have my mp10s on 10mm (about 3/8") glass, and i know doc has his mp10s on 12mm (a bit less than 1/2") glass and it sticks to it.. i think the motor would still run on 1/2" glass, but there would be less contact between the 2 sides, so several mounting tabs is a must, in case you push through with it..

how big is your tank anyway?

mp40 is quite expensive for my tank, i heard/read that a single mp40 is quite over rated for a 4 feet tank. mp20 would be perfect, kaso wala na akong makitang mp20 na for sale.

for that dims, its about 50g.. ime/imo, having 2 smaller pumps is better than 1 big pump.. so you may want to add another mp10 or something similar

Ok lang sa 1/2 glass MP10, i have mp10 for 1year 5months sa DT ko. I have 36x18x18 DT,at never nagka problem, Madami nga nagulat sa mga nakakita sa MP10 ko na nasa 1/2 glass. Eto short Video ng DT ko.

I also use MP10 on 1/2" glass. No problem so far. Mas madali lang mahulog yung wet side pag matabig yung dry side sa labas.
