Brown wafer algae

hey charles, hope you doin fine. can you help me with this one, is yhis really brown wafer algae (Lobophora variegata)?!?

they have been pretty slow growers that is why i never bothered with it. if it is brown wafer, how do i go about ridding my tank of it?

To be honest, I'm not sure what you have there, but I doubt that it is a Lobophora. I wish I had a sample to put under the microscope just to make sure it is an algae to begin with. Have you seen any of your snails eating it?
