Very small stars

Hi Charles,

I usually see these very small white stars(if that's what they are)about 2-3mm in size hitchhiking in clove polyps and zoanthids.

Are they pests? Or are they reef safe?

Those are not starfish but foraminiferans, should be harmless. And if you would, could you get some much closer, detailed photos of them so I can include them in with my other foram hitch hiker photos?

I will try to look for more specimens of these foraminiferans in my tank and take more close-up pictures. Will PM you when i have them.
