That would not surprise me at all, do keep in mind that these are shore-line animals and most all such creatures that inhabit the shore/shallows have to be tough to survive and have to eat what ever comes their way, the shore is not like the reef where theres a good deal of food so what ever does live near or on shore is usualy an omnivore.
