As you can see, while theyre retracted there are so many spines-like skeleton outside. so im assuming its a brain. then there is one small red circle too. it might be some kind of an acan. what do you think?

Hi charles! I have another coral here for identification.
As you can see, while theyre retracted there are so many spines-like skeleton outside. so im assuming its a brain. then there is one small red circle too. it might be some kind of an acan. what do you think?

that is a Scolymia australis, an indo-pacific type. Most of this corals are misidentified as acan maxima which are collected only from the mid-east.

oh its a scoly. hopefully it recovers because its skeleton is broken and i just used mighty bond to put it together. the skin holds them and now the mighty bond too. thanks again spy!
