Are biopellets enough for phosphate removal?

Mga sir na experienced as biopellets tanong ko lang po enough na ba ang biopellets as pagtangal ng phosphates o kaylangan pa rin ng gfo? May mag nagsabi kasi na nitrates lang ang nasisimot ng biopellets.

depende din ata sa brand.. not sure.. it will remove some po4 but not all.. tolerable na po4 mo pag hindi ka pure sps..

solid carbon (like biopellets) works just like carbon dosing, (vodka, sugar, vinegar or plain glucose or ethanol) that is to supply carbon for bacteria to efficiently utilize nitrogen and phosphorous (see redfield ratio) regardless of brand, carbon:nitrogen:phosphorous ang ratio, carbon being the nutrient mostly used. Madalas 106:16:1.

kung halimbawa mas mataas ang ratio ng phosphates mo over nitrates, meron talagang maiiwan na phosphates kaya karamihan gumagamit pa rin ng GFO.

May brand na nakakapagpababa rin daw significantly ng phosphates. pero mukha lang siyang BP na may GFO kasi brown siya. . Meron ding brand na nagsasabi na resistant daw siya sa redfield ratio. Although di pa napatunayan yun.

lahat halos ng brand gumagana, pero okay yung ecobak di ganun kakalat.
