Hehe bumili ka na ba bro? Sa sulit mo rin ba ito nakita? I got curious with this brand as well kasi mas mura sya than the more popular ones. Pero wala din masyado reviews to sa net. hehe.

the body seems to be thin plastic.. compared to other better known brands that are thick acrylic.. might work.. maybe at par with the macro aqua skimmers.. request ka ng pic dun sa seller na working yung skimmer.. i'll just wait for 2nd hand reef octopus skimmers here.. tried and tested..

sir wala pang pics ang skimmer pero mukhang ok naman. nakalgay siya ngayon sa display tank ko kasi wala pakong sump. pero may break in period siya ng mga 3 days bago maka skim… naghihintay pako ng mga 1-2 weeks para malaman ko kung ano talaga yung nakukuha nyang dumi. and nabigla ako sa laki at matibay din yung pagkakagawa… most of all mabait yung seller and overnight delivery lang… I would suggest the skimmer para sa mga nagtitipid sa budget… Pasensya na sa pangungulit ko sa yo bro.. hehe! at salamat na din.

never seen this in person pero based dun sa pics na available here are my initial comments.

masyado ata maliit ang collection cup in proportion dun sa mismong body nya. not unless may overflow din yung collection cup.
next is mukhang proprietary yung pump. so baka pag magkaproblema sa replacement pag naging faulty yung pump.

Pros naman, high grade acrylic daw ang ginamit nila so kung totoo man worth it nga ang price. and the size itself nung skimmer, if given the right pump and impellers mukhang malaki nga ang bubbles na kaya niya iproduce.

@mindfreak mukhang malaki naman yung collection cup kasi bigger siya sa body but of course shorter. and the acrylic is hard. I guess the pump could be improved pa but I think someone sells pumps lang kaya pwedeng mapalitan.

mas maganda malamang kung direcho sa sump kaso kelangan mga 50-75 gallon yung sump mo for PS-600. This is my first time to own a bigger and better skimmer eh pero di pako naka try ng reef octopus kaya baka olats din ang basis ko… hehe!

I have not seen this personally but it looks decent enough. Similar lang din siya sa old school coralife skimmers and jebo HOB skimmers. FWIW matino naman ang skimmate production nung mga yun, though not as efficiently as most new skimmers today.

Acrylic yan base sa pic. Pero kung hindi yan cast acrylic (example extruded) magbibitak yan over time.

Disadvantage sa design yung tube papuntang skimmer kasi mas malaking wattage na pump ang kakailanganin para makapagproduce ng sufficient bubbles, compared sa mga bagong in-sump skimmers na halos wala nang 20w yung max wattage ng malalaking models.

piho, do you mind posting the stated wattage of the skimmer pump you are using?

@seth the pump is haqos MP-2200 29 watts needle wheel impeller pump. medjo malakas nga sa watts. meron pa bang pwedeng substitute na pump ang gamitin ko? and pwede na kaya akong mag vodka dose sa skimmer ko ngayon? 160ppm kasi nitrates ko eh. or should I buy bio pellet reactor or other reactors? thanks sir seth!

I have not seen the fittings, but for sure may substitute para diyan. Jebao for example has a pump for a skimmer that includes several fittings.
