geez.... another nomitated hot topic of the year.... and this time somebody's pissed off with someone..... politics, politcs, politics....
to summarize my reactions on this matter;
1. collecting frags destroyed by storm? the reef has been destroyed, isnt it a better idea to just let it grow and rebuild again instead of collect it off from nature?
2. soft corals are part of the reef....
3. true enough that all aqua-cultured corals came from the reef, they are propagated by people or individuals who have the right equipments and facilities and knows how to do it. are you guys sure newbies know how to do it?
4. buying frags from carti or collecting it yourself.... what's moral about either?
5. naninita ng newbie? i believe i am just giving an opinion and hindi naninita; so would i be considered righteous if i thought him the right way to chunk off the corals from the sea? am i really helping him and enlightening him of what responsible reefing is all about? this post is politically inclined, if you got issues with me or any other 'kilala' or barkadang reefer, settle it like a man -- that's what private messages are for
6. wanna bet on what? from collecting wild corals to cyanide.... dude, invest your bettings to help protect the reef instead....
7. though off topic and irrelevant for threadstarter again, can you please name the exotic or rare fishes where fisherfolks damage the reefs? who are these fisherfolks and i wanna know them and how they chose not to damage the reef for ordinary fishes and damage it for exotics
responsible... moral..... it starts from an individual not a community, not a forum, nor a group of reefers...
i never named names or pointed fingers in this thread but telling all of a better way to enjoy this hobby; stop coming here palying politics and stir *. do it in another forum.
