My Opinion/Practices: Establishing a Soft Coral Tank

Almost All-DIY 50g BB Mixed Reef, DIY Rocks / Plugs, Modded sunsun, Modded RO. 150w MH + Lumenarc.
Some fishes, Some SPS, Zoanthids and some other odds and ends.

2. CHOOSING A SOFT-CORAL TANK
For tank width, I recommend a minimum of 20 inches. This is the width which allows 8 T5 HO bulbs (with reflectors) to be kept tightly side by side. If you do the math, for tank with a depth of 18” and a width of 20”, the average watts/gallon (for all tank lengths, from 3 feet to 8 feet length) lie in the range of 5.5 to 5.7, a pretty good figure for soft-coral tanks. If one wishes a wider tank (say, a cube), my advise is to fill up the tank-top real estate with as many T5 HO tubes that can fit.

5. LIVESTOCK OPTIONS FOR SOFT CORAL TANKS
Below are some ideas for realistic biotope-based soft coral tanks. These tank biotopess are driven by a desire to remain faithful to what would be found in nature.
I have been doing through websites about reef scape but all I see are finished design. How does one put these soft corals? Do I arrange my live rocks first then place each of the corals on top of these rocks?
