the temporary holding container connected to my 75 gal system (poor man's set up )

I used 10ml. syringe for feeding with diy mixed recipe(shrimp, dulong, cylopeeze, brineshrimps, coral frenzy)



10 mins. after feeding



after 15 minutes







30 minutes after ( some left over to be siphoned)




affter siphoning of leftover food




my first acquired SC (01/12/09) housed in my sump with 50 gal DT

question lang po. the rock to which my suncorals are attached, i noticed that underneath, there are some white slime that appeared and they smell so bad. are these die-offs from the rock? what should i do about it?

I tried to feed them they seem to find the shrimps a lot better.

Sir May I ask how do you prepare the solid mix coral food.


I will try your method later with the airline tubing and the injector.

I really do appreciate them.


I've noticed the ones I got from Salazar have its tentacles very short as compared to the pictures in other sites. It is as if the tentacles cannot catch any food.


I'm trying to target feed them yet I worry the other polyps may not be eating.

Would the coral be considered eating if there is no direct solid food on top of its mouth? In which the almost liquid food mix is floating on top of it?




I will try my best to post pictures this week.
