You might want to consider the dreaded ich disease. Before I also cannot have my fishes live for 2 weeks. I am buying the hardy ones and beginner fishes like clownfish and tangs. My blue tang back then was full of white spots all over the body including some in the eyes. He was quite hardy for he is the only one to survive for about a week. I decided to purchase a UV sterilizer to cure the ich and little by little maybe about a week or two all of the white spots had vanished. After that I am successful in keeping fishes when I buy at reputable LFS.
