If your alk is around 14dkh, mabilis bababa yan as long as you do not dose any form of alkalinity sypplements. Kung wala namang visible or apparent effect sa LS, just wait it out gaya nga ng sabi ni thurrmac.

Any distilled vinegar would do, even diluted glacial acetic. kahit household vinegar basta plain and unflavored. (Datu puti is just glacial acetic diluted in water and added with cloudifier)

thanks chard and marty for the info kaso pano ang dosage and can anyone tell me pano at ano ang tamang reading sa API text kit ng KH ? kasi ng mag test ako 24 drops bago naging yellow yung blue tapos multiply by 17.9 lumalabas 429.60ppm nalilito tuloy ako ehh hehehe

Wow, 24 dKh? Counter check ka using another test kit from a friend, bro. Baka mis-read lang yan or may error sa test.

I have no definite amount of vinegar to recommend pero start with the lowest amount possible... Check your Magnesium levels as well. Baka mataas din ang Mg mo, mahirap magpababa ng Alk kapag super elevated din ang Mg.

Kung mababa ang calcium mo then mataas ang Kh, pwede kang magdagdag ng Calcium (calcium only, like Calcium Chloride) para ma-correct yung levels at sabay na mag-equalize yung Ca at Alk. (Through deposition by stony corals and coralline algae)

Check mo rin yung Kh level ng top-off water mo and yung ginagamit mo for WCs... kasi di rin bababa yung Alk kung mataas rin ang Kh ng gagamitin mo for top-off and WC.

Suggest ko lang din na mag-counter check ka sa test kit bro, kasi kung wala namang apparent changes or stress na nakikita sa corals mo malamang talaga error lang sa test kit yan.

ako dati nag start 10ml vinegar per day. less forgiving naman ang vinegar incase sobra dose mo compare to vodka. kahit 20ml per day kaya ng system mo but better be safe so start at 10ml

chard pano pala yun mag start ako ng 10ml then for long na 10 ml lalagay and every when ako mag increase ng dosage everyday ba kindly give me the proper dosage starting from 10ml then ilan idagdag ko gradually ? TIA
