Killing Aiptasia w/ Laser

Sir Dean I tried Joe Juice, turned off the power heads first before and after application then i forgot to turn on the wavemakers and whhhallla!!! Aiptasia colony gone this morning! Killed 37 pcs -DT, 9 in the sump, & 4 in the overflow box.

Harmless sya sa rbta and reg bta, napatakan ko nga po ng ilang drops and I was scared baka magkaroon sila ng reaction, worst ay ma-dead pero they are still alive and kicking

joe's juice only affect those na mapatakan niya ng marami.. i also used joe's juice to control my zoa population.. yung local kasi mabilis dumami tapos natatabunan yung imported.. so i dosed some joe's sa zoa polyp.. it died, the zoa colony was not affected..

hindi ma frag eh.. nasa main rock sa DT.. dapat kasi, pag ka inject ng joe's juice, damihan mo para matunaw talaga..

So far no aiptasia pa. Kaya for me it works, ipdate ko kayo pag biglang dami ulit ng aiptasia so far ito muna, for now kasi it doesn't affect the param ng tank ko and wala kong aiptasia so walang masama

Aiptasia season yata...I'm having problem controlling it also.

@ jemzac - gaano kadami JJ nailagay mo to kill 50 aips? I should try this method no wavemaker overnight .
@Dean - ok sana laser kaso dapat super ingat ka dyan.

Mmm ganong kadami?? Siguro po tama lang na macover yung area ng aiptasia. Ako po ginawa ko nung open yung aiptasia, then dahan dahan ko in-apply. Yung tama lang na di sya magugulat sa bumagsak sa katawan nya. May aiptasia din ako sa gloves/cloves pero di naman natunaw yung body ng gloves/cloves nang JJ ko aiptasia sa tabi nila.

Then, napatunayan ko na nakaka-sting talaga aiptasia kasi naka-slant na yung gloves then nung nawala na aiptasia straing na ulit body nila

Hhhuu!! Dami kong sinabi! Natuwa lang ko wala na ko aiptasia haha

Yeah , even the experts are very cautious about using laser. Have to wear goggles to protect the eyes and keep LS away. MMmmmmmmm.......

Similar but not the same, pointer laser for "presentations" are <100m W or less , while or what they call survival laser ranges from 1.2W ton 2W or some even higher.
