Need Help!

Hi, I havent been very active sa RP for a long time but I do visit the forums from time to time. Recently (About 3 months ago), I started reviving my reef tank which was for the longest time (After Ondoy) a FOWLER. The tank has been running for atleast 4 year already. I got inspired to go reefing again when I saw my Brother in Law's tank. I have everything to support a reef tank just got dis hearthened when my tank crashed after ondoy. He has a 200 G tank with LEDs as lighting. I was out of the circle or so long I didnt realized that the prize of Led Lighting was pretty reasonable already.

Sorry for the long intro and would like to get to the point. I plan on keeping a mixed reef. My LPS and Softies are doing fairly well. My SPS, some are okey, some are not. No RTN or STN, my problem is I cannot seem to make them retain their colors but they are growing. THe only ones retaining its the color are the green ones (Acros) and the red birds nest. The purple, the blue and yellow turns brown eventually after 2 weeks or more.

I have a 100 feet tank with a depth of I think 16-18 inches only. I have 2 110W Maxspect G2 From peter and 1 Brightwell Aquatics 250W 14K MH sa center. I think my lights are bright enough but that is only me. Do I have enough lights to make SPS retain its color or is it too much?

Parameters are as follow

Alkalinity - 7-8 DKH
PH 8.1-8.2
Calcium 420-440
Nitrate Yellow - 0? using API ( I am using Bio Pellets in a reactor)
Phosphate - 0 Using API
- .35 ppm using hannah
- I am currently using 500 grams rowaphos in a canister filter with 500 grams AC

I think my problem is with the .35 PPM Phosphates would this contribute to the browning of my SPS?

Tips on how to zero or keep it below .05 ppm? I already have a PO4 reator running.
I though I was doing everything right but my phosphate is still a little high. I purchased the hannah last nite so last nite was the first time i saw quantiable results for my phosphate which is .35 ppm.

try niyo mag bio pellets.. try to lessen the bioload... and temp is also important.. may chiller ba kayo? my 20g is sps na.. im having problems with yellows and reds, pero the blues and purples are coloring up.. pero yung mga may enough light lang.. yung sps na hindi masyado naiilawan, medyo nagbrown..

grow mangroves and chaeto sir... and for emergency purposes, lets say 1.0 and above i use lathanium (liquid P04 remover) it binds P04 on contact...

Have experience that before sir. Considering that you have the ideal set up anf lighting, your water params are acceptable. Try corecting this slowly. I think it has something to do with the lighting as u claimed that the green onces are ok. They resist uv stress beter than the other
Colors. Try starting initialy your hieght at 18 inches then taper weekly by an inch. Next is test your stron and mag, dose iodine and potassium, you can also experiment buy a new color acro. Pref blue make 3 frags, but 1 at upper, middle and lower portion then note the level where the erliest to turn brown. Try dosing phytoplank regularly. Use lipid bound so that it will not be readily remove by the skimmer. Just update ua bro. Just be patient youl have that vibrant color soon. Pls post pictures bro if you can.

Yes i have a chiller pala set at 27-28 whats the ideal temp ba?

Me too but process of elimination muna ko. Ill get my p04 to below .05 ppm pag di parin try other suggestions. Sana wag ilaw mas magastos yon. Someone also told me dahil wild caught sometimes they will get shock sa captive condition. Di naman kasi natin alam what condition sila nakuha. Best daw frag from tank raise specimen

LEDs gamit ko sir.. dati nung sobrang lakas, d evident masyado yung color.. tapos nasira yung ibang LED drivers ko (china kasi), ayun, mas lumabas yung kulay nila.. 23W nga lang LED ko sa 20g eh..
