A Survey - What's your Vodka dosage?

What is your maintenance dosage? Please include pertinent info like tank size, stocking density (light, medium, fully or overstocked), ATS, Chaeto, filtration, skimmer, feeding, water changes sked and other factors that may determine your dosage. Also please include your N&P readings and brand and proof of vodka. Thanks.

Dosage - 4.5 ml
Brand and proof - Cossack Red 80 proof
Tank size - 50 Gal. total
Stocking - Fully stocked
Skimmer - Modified Queen Turbo
Filtration - DBS, and Chaeto only
Water Change - 20% every two weeks
Feeding - Twice a day
N - 0
p - unknown (don't know where i can buy a test kit for it)

Stocking - medium stocked / softies dominated tank
Skimmer - stock Queen Turbo
Filtration - DBS, live rocks and mangroves
Water Change - no water change 6 months and still going
Feeding - atleast 4 to 5 times a day / pellets and fresh shrimp meat
N - 0ppm
p - no test kit
Ca - no test kit
top -off - tap water
water flow - 2-6watts wave makers

I am still in the process of establishing my maintenance dosage. After 6 weeks, my present dosage is 3.0ml.

Dosage - 3.0 ml at the moment > 15ml vodka 2 tbsp glucose daily 4 divided dosses
Brand and proof - Cossack Red 80 proof > toska 40%
Tank size - 50 Gal. total > 200 gal
Stocking - Fully stocked > same
Skimmer - Modified Queen Turbo >xp 3000
Filtration - DBS, ATS and Chaeto only > skimmer, cheato, rowaphos,
Water Change - 20% every two weeks >10% weekly+additives
Feeding - Twice a day > pytoplank daily
N - 10ppm holding but not yet decreasing > 0ppm api
p - unknown (don't know where i can buy the test kit for it)> 0 api

Three months after I started Vodka dosing, I finally managed to get my nitrates to Zero. I gradually increased the amount till I reached 9 ml. Now my maintenance dosage is half of that (4.5 ml). This method really works!!!

No side effects for me. It's important to have an efficient skimmer to take out the slimy stuff. Maybe you should check and clean your skimmer and readjust if needed. I had some cyano at first but they soon disappeared.
