Sump taller and behind DT

Hi Guys,

Just wondering kung may gumawa na ba nito? Ung sump will be a little higher than the DT and will be located behind it and then lalabas lang ung flow sa spout directly inches on top of DT? I'm thinking of doing one kasi i won't be drilling my DT anymore. Onga pala, i just have a 35gal tank and planning to have a 15gal sump.

Any thoughts on this? Thanks!

i believe you can have this fabricated at cartimar...

try to visit DLBD(cartimar) their selling this back side built in sump. also fabricated.

a 50gallon tank with a built in sump at the back.

this will save some space and you wouldn't be needing 2 metal stands.

Just my thoughts on your planned set up. You won't be able to control the (return) water from sump going back to the display tank and for sure if sump is higher than the DT, magspa-splash yan

Thanks for the replies mga bro. Yeah, i think may splash nga. The 35gals is in place na kasi (without sump before), but having 2nd thoughts, i decided na maglagay ng sump. Anyway, instead of a spout, I will try to use PVC pipes na lang, maikli lang naman i think.

Anu ba ang magandang size to allocate para sa Queen Turbo Skimmer? 10in x 10in pwede na kaya?
