I tried this around 2-3 weeks ago --- I started with half teaspoon (50g tank) for the 1st week and increased the dosage to 1 teaspoon on the second week. My nitrate read > 40ppm or probably higher before I started dosing. It went down to 20ppm last week. My reading a while ago was 10ppm.

Whenever I dose (at night), it would cloud the water a few hours after, and would get clear a couple of hours afterwards -- probably some being suck by the skimmer and some settling down on the substrate and LRs.

hi dartpro --- yup, it's about a month now since nagstart ako magdose ng sugar. 0 nitrates na between 3rd to 4th week, so nita-try ko na bawasan ang dosing. Halos everyday or every other day ang linis ng skimmer, ang bilis kasi dumumi...

i think i would try this instead of vodka. hehe. ang bilis malasing yung powder blue ko eh as if nasuffocate.

help naman how much i should dose for 180 gal total system tank.

mga sir tama ba intindi ko? daily ang pag dose ng sugar? then check ang reaction ng tank inhabitants, then gradually ang pag bawas ng dose weekly? when does it ends? when uli i start ang pag dose? thanks sirs
