When my tank wasn't as stable, i used a UV Sterilizer... it helped... actually, you may want to find out the cause of your ich.. do you use NSW? If you are having problems with ich, maybe you can stop using NSW and switch to RO and saltmix. If you are just FOWLR, you can use copper... however, you can never place any invertibrates after. Best way I think is to ensure that all your fishes are healthy, eating properly... they will be ich resistant. When my blue tang had ich before, I kept on feeding it with macroalgae .. then water changes.. good luck sa ich...
