10.55 gallon piece of nature

I started my tank last december 1 2014. It's been been 2 months already but I haven't shared my DIY TANK..

1 x DIY 10.55 GALLON with mini sump/refuge
1 x AP1000 return pump
1 x extra AP1000 (serves as wavemaker for occasional use)
1 x DIY nano skimmer
1 X DIY LED BLUE & WHITE 10w
1 X T5 BLUE 6W

I Started it with the ff:

4 x kilo dry rock
4 x killo live sand
4 x nassarius snails
2 x hermit crabs
2 x unknown snails

After one week I introduce two clownfish + 1 damsil . Then after 3 weeks started to add nem and other corals. Sabi ng iba at sa mga nabasa ko na need atleast 6 months para e introduce ang nem pero huli na ng nabili ko . My fault hindi ko naresearch

had to get rid of one of the nem pangit kasi pinaswapan ko nalang.

After a month nagsilabasan na mga pods anywhere and everywhere... lels


Kahit 1 month na hindi parin kontento sa placements ng rocks and corals.

had to get rid of my skunk clownfish kasi parang nasstress yung nem sa kakabundol nya


Also added more corals.

Setup a small refuge sa likod with 5W LED down light.
Wala akong nakitang chaeto kaya turtlegrass/sea grass nalang muna..


Ayyy, meron pala akong 1 bag of ceramic rings at bioballs dati pero tinanggal ko na yung nconvert ko siya as refuge..

Ito na po yung latest ng tank ko.. 2 months and 1 week na..

Bytheway, itong tank nakaconnect sa solar setup except sa air pump.. Kaya wala akong problema sa brownout Pero pag maulan at walang charge ang solar setup naka grid siya para hindi madrain ang battery ng solar..

ganyan din nag start first 10 gal tank ko sir,
binigyan ako ng filter wool ng LFS dito.
makatulong mag seed ng nitrifying bacteria.

DIY SKIMMER IN ACTION.. Cguro kung wala ako nito dko alam kung magsusurvive ang mga fish and corals.
I clean the foam every week.
