127g Drop Off Tank

It's been a while since my last update.. 50g pa yun tank ko.. This tank was previously owned by a fellow RP member.. He was moving out so he had to sell this tank.. Bharce was supposed to get this tank but i persuaded him to trade my 50g to this tank.. And I'd like to thank him for that. The stand was rebuilt to add additional support and partitions for the electricals and other reactors. the sump was changed. There were some issues with the tank that I'm just starting to correct. Chiller was installed late in the summer months so there were a lot of STN and bleaching with the SPS.

main footprint ng tank is 4'x2'x20".. yung drop off part is 3ft.. so may advantage din sa hobby yung pagiging matangkad.. hehehe!

A fellow reefer upgrade his AI sol blues to AI hydras. With the upgrade, AI will send you the LED chips, controller, plastic casing, and lenses. So you will remove almost everything sa AI sol. The only thing that will be left is the heatsink, power supply and fan. So yung mga naalis na LED chips, controller, plastic casing and lenses for the AI sol blue binili ko. What I needed lang is the heatsink and fan. So i tried the local heatsink from alonzo. Width is almost the the same. So dinikit ko yung led chips sa heatsink and screwed everything in place. Yung fan na gamit ko, 12V DC fan on timer na lang. Then I bought 36V 2A power supplies sa ebay. 4 para may extra. $69 ata including shipping. kaso had to pay 1.8k sa customs dahil may weekend rate para sa storage rental nila. Still a lot cheaper than the $50 power supply sa ai store. Been using it for almost a year i think. Visit kami ni robie minsan jake.

i dont think na thoro yun, kasi matagal na yung tank.. mag 2 years na yun.. and sa sand yung algae not sa rocks..
