Thanks sir. Actually may sentimental talaga ako sa lionfish. They are the ones responsible for my reefing hobby. I saw them sa technomarine shop kasi. I plan to purchase a fowlr after maayos room ko para malipat ko na yung 2 lions and 1 trigger. Yung trigger ko has been with me since october di pa niya pinapansin corals ko.

Actually yung sa pipe ko barado na yung first 4 holes, i plan to cut it na lang then maglagay ng elbow.

Yun overflow pwde mo siya pagawang ng overflow box para hindi ma suck in yun small fishes and para mas ma skim yun water surface.


Dami mong fish ha. di ka nagkakaproblem sa nitrate?

Pwede mong punuin ng macro algae (chaeto or caulerpa) yun section na to. tapos yun return pipe pwede mong palitan ng braided vinyl hose para hindi na rereduce ng 90 elbow yun flow ng return pipe mo.

@imortal actually sir 5 days na skimmate na yan. Parang ang konte nga eh kasi ung sa gf ko na turbo skimmer masmarami pang skimmate sakin. So far 0 pa naman nitrate ko. May chicken screen ako nilagay sa mga hole para di makasuck ng fish ung cardinal ko kasi dati nasuck eh. Yung chaeto ba need ng light? Balak ko kasi pumunta kay graf ngayon e.

natatakot ako dun sa gate valve, mukhang gawa sa brass? Baka pagtagal makaapekto sa corals mo. To answer the question re chaeto, yes lahat ng algae kailangan ng ilaw.

Had some minor improvements in my system.

Installed 5 par 38 leds will add 1 more and several fans this weekend.









Minor changes in the sump. Changed the skimmer and currently running activated carbon and gfo. Also added phosguard to further decrease my phosphate. Current phosphate in 1 and nitrate is 0. Water change every 2 weeks about 30-40%.







Thinking of buying a chiller but will do some electricity costing first. Please advise if you know how much is the electricity cost of a 1/4 hp chiller per month.
