I started this Setup last July 27, 2013.I want to put some Clown fish and Live Stocks in it.I'm using Max Mix Instant Saltwater mix (Blue bag) is that ok?

yan ba yung galing cartimar na saltmix? yng blue bag? if yes, I woudn't recommend that blue bag. hindi nakakabuhay ng kahit ano. water quality is the most important thing you'll need in this hobby. Try mo yung Blue Treasure. madami dito gumagamit nyan at successful naman. Tama lang yung presyo, mabilis pang makakuha ng supply. Meron tayo dito sponsors na nag bebenta ng Blue Treasure, try searching it na lang then may number naman sila dun available.

bro comment ko lang.... ayon sa picture may pump ka sa main tank para mapunta ang tubig sa sump at may pump ka sa sump para mabalik ang tubig sa main tank? tama po ba?.... the problem is pag nasira ang isa sa kanila maaring magbaha sa inyo.... o pag nag worn out ang isa sa kanila hindi magpapatas ang bato ng tubig magooverflow nanaman yan.... better drill a hole nalang para isang pump lang ang gamit mo aksaya pa sa kuryente yan

Welcome to RP bro!

May mga suggestion ako bro, tanggalin mo na yung pump sa sa display tank mo. Imbis na makatulong, magko-contribute pa sya sa init ng tangke mo. Instead, mas makakabuti siguro kung magDIY ka na gravity fed na PVC overflow (maraming tutorial sa youtube nyan) or pabutasan mo tangke mo.

Maglagay ka rin ng wavemaker for added flow/water movement kahit yung 3watts na resun or yung pinakamaliit na hydor koralia (1.2k ata yun) na di hamak na mas ok kesa sa resun.

I wouldn't recommend the blue bag (180php) from carti. Bukod kasi sa mababa ang ph nya (7.6-7.8PH) mababa din ang calcium nya at di consistent ang mixture ng saltmix nya bukod pa yung tagal matunaw ng mixture nya. In my experience, nakabuhay naman sya ng isda pero malaki ang possibility na palagi kang mamamatayan ng isda. Kung sa corals naman, wag ka umaasa, pagkalagay mo palang.. TUNAW na agad!

tsong, use or borrow a test kit first to make sure you have completed the cycle before putting any live stock in it.you may use your live rock or add a small piece of shrimp to cycle. i also suggest using a refractometer to test for salinity and replacing whatever that white thing is in your sump with a high-quality protein skimmer. good luck!

Setup last Jan 28 it is the 9 day today it has 1 inch sand bed and 17.6 Pounds of rock.We also fixed the pipe overflow.



Mangroves they are all healthy.



My sump Sk-300 skimmer,rocks,Chaeto and Mangroves.

bakit ala pa laman may nakikita akong spiny thingy sa likod ng rock

Alisin mo yung sa side ng mangrove.. diba pag labas ng leaf may dalawang nsa ilalim na prang malambot na leaf, tangalin mo yun and don't let it stay sa water mo.. naglalabas sa pagkakaalam ko ng phosphate yun pag naiwan mo sa water mo tapos dun mabubulok. nice mangrove btw! delikado ang mangrove na nakabaon sa sand kasi tutubo roots ng mabilis to the point na pag hindi mo napansin, kaya niyang gumapang sa glue ng aquarium mo at pag napasok yung roots niya.... mag kakaleak ka.
