My first 20g tank only lasted 6 months, kid sister-in-law poured about 1/4 cup of fish food and hid. not too long before the ammonia spikes and kills all the fish. And a reason to upgrade.

After 2 months of planning and saving I am now cycling my 50g DT with 20g Sump. I'm using Jebo Quadplex for my skimmer with seaquest 1600 and seaquest 2200 return. I'm not hooking up my 3w wave maker because I'm planning to buy a 6w version. I'm currently doing alot of DIY, to save some cash.

nice flow accelerator, nagiisip narin ako ng design ko at nakaka-1 whole day na ako kakaisip kung ano talaga ang effective! hahaha! keep us posted!

btw, itago ang mga pagkain! save the fish; save the wallet! kahit sa dogs ko ayaw ko pinapakain ng mga tao sa bahay dahil binubundat at gusto pa raw....... malamang!

maybe put a few strings in front of the water output with and without eductor and see how it moves.

And maybe if with eductor put a few strings behind the eductor to see if water is being pulled in. Maybe can see how strong the pull is? with and without eductor can also be tried here I guess.

just a tip: yung eductor mo dapat nilagyan mo ng nozzle sa loob para mas malakas ang pressure ng outgoing water that in turn will suck in the surrounding water better. parang ganito:

On day 2, I added 4 vials prodibio biodigest and 2 vials bioptim..

On the 3rd day, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite.. I added 2 fish. I wanted to buy just 1, but the wife insisted on 2.. 1 percula clown and 1 african clown. both under 1" only. They will be my ammonia source.

On the 4th day, the African Clown died.. He was too weak probably from stress and being bullied by the perc, Ammonia still 0, nitrite 0..

5-10th day, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite.. although I noticed some clear/white slime on the clown body and fins.. researched and found that i could be "brooklynella". When i came home, i thought of giving him a formalin dip, but i was too late.

Day 11, 0 ammoinia 0 nitrite, im planning to add fish.. maybe some that are a little hardier than the clowns. Maybe a Foxface and some damsels.. and may a coral or 2..

I know its not a good idea, but im banking on prodibio to give me some results.
