My 67 Gallon tank

Voyager did the mod instead of the mesh mod he took one of his dismantled pinwheel impeller from OTP, and sliced the whole paddles and replaced it with it, I'm now breaking in the skimmer, and i'm impressed at the microbubbles it produces

So i've read about how a skimmer breaks in, mukhang matagal tagal pa pala ang pag break in nito, so i'm currently running the skimmer on a coleman cooler, with 1 kilo na rocksalt, tapos ayun nilagyan ko ng skimmate ng resun skimmer ko dun sa existing 25 gallon tank, then the dirt from my biopellet reactor

nice... how about the impeller, was it modded too?

tsaka teka nga pala, bakit hindi mo nilagay na agad sa sump mo yung skimmer habang breaking in pa lang?

Yes impeller is modded too, instead of the paddlewheel that came with the pump, it was sliced and replaced with an OTP pinwheel impeller..

because both the main tank and the sump is just in the design phase pa lang, probably by late june i'll have both the main tank and the sump made by mang ramon, so I thought I could probably break in the skimmer first so when I placed it at the sump it'll break in a couple of days instead of weeks, or that's not true?

Ganda ng pagkagawa did you stick to 1/4 inch glass and 3/8 inch on the bottom?

ask lang po.. bkit hindi rimless yung tank, 3/8 nmn po yung thickness ng glass.. hindi po ba kaya irimless or design talaga sya na dapat may braces?

ok so the tank is now ready for water, but my problem is:



I already have a 3/4" inch hose, on the return, only thing missing is the hose for the 1.5 inch pipe.

anywhere I can buy them? or probably a PVC pipe
