hi reefers,

anyone experiencing itchines on the skin when being submerged in the aquarium water? I recently removed the sand in my old tank to clean it and save for future use. There are several itchy and swollen patches in my hands and arms. Its most evident in the middle finger in the picture.

Most likely you've been stung by fireworms while cleaning the sands. Give it 3-5 days to heal by itself.
