king's 50gal tank

My fascination with the marine life started when I stumbled upon my tito's tank during one of my out of town trips. It was just a FOWLR tank with lots of clownfishes in it.
I live up north thus access to the beach seems rather difficult.
So, I started to research about saltwater fishes, corals and reefs in the internet.
There I found online friends who shared the same hobby or should i say, passion for reefing.
Early March of 2009 , I set up a custom made tank, 36 x 16 x 20 and placed clownfishes, tangs, wrasses, and angels. Unfortunately, the base of my tank cracked thus experiencing "tank crash" after two months.
Not wanting to give up on my new found interest, I patiently started all over again but now
more equipped with information about how to toil a marine tank. All these, with diys here and
there,
I am now happily maintaining what I simply call, "king's SW Tank".

i love this pix.. but i removed the bigger orange-shoulder tang. too many tangs in the tank

and i'm starting to add soft corals na sa tank. prefer ko rics and actinos.. kaya lang wala masyado available nice rics and actinos dito..

thanks nabili ko ang blue tang sa aquaria(davao). tiny pa sya pgkuha ko sa kanya hehe 1 inch pa lng ata sya nun. i named her "BBtang"

Nice tank sir. Really beautiful sir. Clean and healthy fish. I hope to have a starfish but I'm afraid to buy. Where did you buy your yellow hawaiian tang sir, looks very well ada pted to your tank.

i got the yellow tang from entot.. siya supplier(3rd man) namin dito sa dvo dala nya galing manila last august..

King im from kidapawan.... but since dito na ako naka base sa manila for work dito na rin ako nag ka tank.... balak ko nga maglagaay jan sa parents house ko pag uwi ako ng december.... mangunguha lang ako ng corals sa may digos pero ang fsh sa manila ko bibilhin.... asan ba malapit sa inyo dsa kidapwan kami nasa alim st. nice weather din kasi sa atin.... di na natin kailangan ng chiller malamig na kasi eehehehe up up
