I have to restart my tank today, because it has a leak on the bottom, already applied silicone, and tested for leaks for 24 hours, so far wala naman, this time, magsacycle na ako YAHOOOOOO!!!!!


nakakatakot yung anemone, pero so far wala pa namang amoy, nilagay ko muna lahat ng LS ko sa batsa, with the lights...ang problem ko ngayon is yung anemone kasi nakadikit siya sa pinakamalaking bato...

Mga bro kailangan ko pa ba ng ilaw kapag nagsacycle??? kasi kung ililipat ko yung odyssea na lighting, mawawalan ng ilaw yung batsa, lalo na yung anemone, so paano magkikick start yung cycling? eh di ba algae kailangan ng light???

sir darkstar kamusta po ung corals sa batsa? similar po kase nangyari sa atin. di ko nga lang po alam kung san lalagay livestock ko. thanks

actually they're doing fine, basta kailangan mo lang ng flow at Lighting sa batsa...

oh kaya huagasan mo na lang ng mabuti, pero kung may zonrox or pinaglagyan na ng zonrox...wag mo na gamitin...

Nitrate = 10
Ammonia = 4 or 8?
Nitrite = over 5 ata
Ph = 7.8

After a Week of cycling

Nitrate = 0 ppm
Nitrite = 0 ppm
Ammonia = 0 - 0.25 ppm


Guys after a week lang yun, ano na gagawin ko??? baka kasi magkamali ulit ako eh, nandun pa nga pala yung batch of shrimp sa tank, should I remove it or not? and should I place my corals now?

sa tingin ko lang sir.. add ka pa ng shrimps. tapos let the old batch rot nalang. 1 week palang kasi kaya baka alanganin pa..

Just wondering po kung ano nang yari sa tank mo. I've been reading your tank diary both 2009 and 2010. I have a 20G tank(running for 3months) as well that why I'm interested to read your tank diary specially those sumpless tank. I only hav fish at the moment but would like to add corals after I hav a proffer lighting. Just ordered LED light only 27W don't know if it would be enough for soft and lps though. I'm a bit scared to add corals 'coz I don't hav chiller only fan which keep the temp under 30C.

Do u still hav this tank?
Any upgrade and photos?
Did u change your filter to sump/refigium? What's your filter now?
Nag upgrade po b ikaw ng lighting t5 to MH or LED?
Any additives/supplements u use for ur tank?
How do u maintain your tank and what's your tank parameter now?
Ano din po ung fishes and corals mo ngayn?
Sorry for all this questions. na enjoy kong basahin ung tank diary mo. Nabitin po aq kac Hindi k n nag post ng updates after cycling.

ah, sorry, I was busy because of my studies eh, right now i'm fighting film algae, ang mahirap lang sa mga nano tank is the rapid fluctuation of the parameters, isa pa eh yung the limited options for fish, i'm currently going for a sumpless, and natural na pagcontrol sa algae, like turbo snails,

I still have this tank for about...6 months now kasi nirestart ko ulit eh,

the tank is equipped with an odyssea T5HO 96 watts (4 X 24 watts) lighting

but i'm planning to upgrade the lighting to MH, kasi ang LED ngayon masyadong expensive, and i'm not hearing too much about it, meron daw nageexist na 30 watts na MH, ewan ko lang kung swak yun sa tank or nano tanks natin.

no filters, just biological filtration (right on the rocks)

wala akong nilalagay na supplement kasi naka NSW naman ako, I think dapat sa mga maliliit na tank NSW, and weekly water change, I usually change 5 gallons of water every week sa tank.

tapos yung method of cooling ko is just one 80mm PC fan yun, nagboblow ng directly ng air sa water surface, ok lang yun, namiss ko din magupdate ng tank ko eh, I think I might post some pictures this week.
