well, here it is..isang Lawnmower blenny pa lang...tapos 4 na nassarius snail (Thanks for Richardhao dahil sinamahan niya ako, hehehehe).....tapos nagperform ako ng 50 percent water change....kaya, nasa 40 PPM na yung nitrate, hope it lowers na....















I like this fish...he's in the tank for about a month now...

wala eh, skimmerless, and, as I read somewhere, ang skimmer tinatanggal niya is yung tira-tirang mga waste, not the nitrate itself, and also, i'm going to try to make the nutrient export more..natural...nung past 6 months 160 ppm yung nitrate ko, ngayon ko lang nagawa yung 50 percent water change...di siguro kinaya ng ATS, ng Macroalgae...yung taas ng nitrate, so for 6 months, they...the corals and the LS, went through that phase...

agree pero at least hindi mabilis ang pag taas ng nitrate mo which is a big help na din na less water change for a week.

if you have mangrove much better rin cguro as they say a nitrate removers.

wish I could, but some mangroves, which some of the reefers here sell, are a bit far from my location...and...wala akong space for mangroves eh..

ah....yan yung last tank ko, yung jebo ko nung dati....those corals, yan pa rin sila.....naku bro, ala kasi ako dito sa Sunday, ROTC tapos whole day pa....yung nitrates ko nung last day ko tinest, 40 to 80, ngayon 20 to 40 na lang.....baka siguro di nakayanan ng ATS....

yung blenny Kumakain na ng Algae sa tank ko, he's been there for a month....

ok ok, eto yung Last year kong set-up, so dami na nangyari diyan, tried ATS, macroalgae and the like to control the nitrates, may mga nawalang corals diyan eh, due to my ignorance so, I decided not to stock it....wala lahat, and then I tried, ano ba tawag dun...Algone, so far bumababa na yung nitrate, pero ambagal, so I decided to buy some saltmix (galing sa pinamaskuhan ko, hehe) so I bought a 10 gallon IO, mixed water....eh 20 gallon tank ko, so ayun, 50 percent water change, I also dealt with PH, kasi tap water ginamit ko, eh...sabi ng iba, hipan ko lang yung newly mixed saltwater, the reading was 8.8, so I tried, naging 8.2, so ayun, then removed 50 percent of water, then added the saltmix, na nasa 5 gal container, (I stocked it for about 2-3 days) yan, from 160 to 80, then on the 2 day after the water change, 40-80, then third day, 20-40....

-isa pang actino, or mushroom coral ata, dati alam ko 3 lang yun eh, nasa isang bato sila, ngayon, 8 plus....

-sama ko na din yung Seaferngrass...which helps with the nitrates though...

-2 Feather dusters

-4 nassarius snails

-1 turbo snail

-1 lawnmower blenny

-1 elegance coral...

20 gallon tank siya....na may built in lights, T5's, one midday and one actinic, 10,000K, tapos, 2 maliliit na powerhead, for the...circulation

and ATS...

planning to replace T5 with LEDs...

should I add more rock?
