good skimmer

hi newbie here.... nagpagawa ako ng sump for my 25g tank. may nilagay akong turbo skimmer w/ sea quest 2200. question lang po bat parang ayaw luminaw ng water ng main tank ko. maraming puti puti na parang undisolved salt. and ang temp ko tumaas. nasa 32 degree(dating 28 deg nung wala pang sump). Yung return pump ko Rio 1400. sobra kayang malakas ang set up ng sump ko?

Hi sir, the SQ2200 generates a lot of heat and think the turbo skimmer needs only a SQ800.

Wth regard to cloudy water, give more details so that we can help you i.e. did you add newly mixed salt water?

yes sir. bagong mix yung salt water ko. btw, how about yung return pump ko? Rio 1400 ang gamit ko. and the dimention of my sump is only (L)13 inches, (H)18 inches, (W)7-1/2 inches. does it (rio 1400)affect the temp of my tank too?

can you post some pics? with your dimensions, mukhang 7g tank lang yun.. tapos hindi pa puno yung sump mo, so around 4-5g of water lang ang nasa sump mo.. sana medyo mas malaki.. kahit the same size as your main tank..
i-modify mo na lang yung skimmer so as SQ 600 or 800 na lang ang pump na ginagamit.. mas efficient pa and i dont think na kaya ihandle ng system mo ang sq2200.. how long has the salt solution been? pag bagong mix kasi, umiinit talga yung salt kung hindi pa siya fully dissolved sa tubig.. if you use salt mix, IME, matagal talga bago luminaw yung tubig.. tsaka you have to wait for 6-8 weeks rin para magcycle yung tank mo.. anong brand ginamit mo?
