Custom 15 gals rimless from cartimar made of 1/4" standard issue glass... Still scared coz it might give way. Pero madami naman ako nakikitang tanks na rimless that are doing well.

Will it hold on its own?

I'll let it sit empty for tonight then I'll fill it up with FW tomorrow.

Yep. Since January.

I have an old tank I just transferred to a rimless. I added some rocks that I was cycling on a bucket.

I fragged the zoas that I got because of a fungus which I suspect came from cartimar.

But I think I was very lucky because I got 2 beautifully colored varieties. One bluegreen, green eyes and violet tentacles. The other is red eyes, orange, and yellow green tentacles.

THe rest is the usual orange moss green and orange eyes.

My phone cam cannot give it justice.

I also got rid of my cyano bloom by using ABSOLUTE DISTILLED water for topoffs.

DIY dc fan mount... very easy... very helpful, my temp never got over 30 degrees...



Galaxea frag... it easily got toobig (and dangerous stinging everything) so I fragged it.

I'm so impatient... I want to get the kenya tree from sir sid na but I have to wait for the orange ric to heal. Gas money is tight. Rizal is far. eheh.

Wishlist:

1. the above, Kenya tree & orage ric
2. something blue ( corallimorph)
3. clownfish they all die)
4. reef safe hermit crab


This is what I started with in January this year. I just wanted a pair of clownfish but they keep on dying. I never planned a reef. But the corals keep on living

This was what I had last January. All I ever wanted. If these two were still alive I would have been satisfied forever and be so happy. But they died. It was brook.

The rocks are still the same. I think that's why my water is good for corals. It's well cycled.

They're so nice... I used mighty bond to mount them on the LR (and used rubber gloves!!!). On the first day they didn't open at all. Thank God my water is good.

Problem Anemone...

This very elegant (white cap with gold polyps and mint green body) carpet anemone is moving around. It's dangerously close to the powerhead. I can't take it off from the rock. I'm using an my old OHF powerhead (only) to circulate the water because it's strong but only 7 watts.
