pics taken two minutes ago.. and sorry really durty tank . I need to clean it yet.
just a bit of a background
This is my second nano yet My very first tank I extensively spend and extrinsically influence the whole lot of my reef hobby.
Most of the livestock from the link above has been tranfered to another nano except that few softies were left, since it was very hard for me to just decomission this tank which started my addiction. Moreover, as time passes, I have a hard time maintaining both so I decided to let nature do its thing for this smaller nano.
husbandry
*water change: I could not remember the last time I did water change. I'd guess, probably two months ago. I only top-up the water with RO/di when necessary.
*feeding: I feed the tank almost daily with brine shrimps, sometimes with flakes and pellets,.... and then recently I tried TOBIKO(flying fish eggs regularly seen on your sushi) Coz I'm weening a new comer.
*supplements: rarely top it with kalkwasser.
equipments
I don't run any reactors/stirrers and or skimmer. But I have a bag of Kent phosphate sponge and carbon at the back chamber that has not been change for a long time. I'd say around four months.
l*ightning: the hood is modded and another pc is added. One of the original stock light is still use, now running for more two years as no lfs carry an 18W pc rated 20k.
livestock
corals:sinularia, hairy mushroom, zoo frags, frogspawn frag
invert: feather duster worm, Majano(?), pistol shrimp( from another refeer that came to his tank as HH.) and two turbo snails
fish: mated pair clarkii, midas blenny, flameback angel fish and a finicky new comer.
water param
not tested.
this tank has been left to tend on its own(almost)... but surprisingly this piece of the ocean is thriving. Give me some time to clean the tank and post a better and clearer photo, plus macro shots of the inhabitants.
