The summer heat is raising my tank to a range between 29-31 degrees and grabe top-offs! Isang baso of RODI every day! Ok pa naman yung snails pero I'm worried ! Right now I'm preparing RODI ice cubes as my daily top-offs (2/day) at the same time para lumamig yung tank ko. I also opening my windows na and placed an electric fan near the tank.

Holding on pa naman ung mga snails ko... anyway nasa last part na ako ng cycling pero dahil sa init baka matatagalan pa ako bago maglagay ng LS.

Medyo ok na yung temp nasa range na ng 28-30 degrees. pero quite feverish IMO.

Did my 25% water change yesterday and just tested the water today with the same dipstick test kit

Ammonia - 0
Nitrite - 0
Nitrate - unchanged at 10-20ppm range
Salinity - 1.025
pH - 8.2

I guess yung NSW ng Fishland ok naman and their fishes there have no ich or sign of stress. Active na matatakaw pa! Yun nga lang 2x the price compared sa Carti.

Since ok naman yung snails ko and it has been 2 weeks since their introduction to the tank, I can add some LS pero because of the nitrates probably I'll go with the hardy ones muna. Updates later

Bought my LS from Carti 2 days ago and so far so good they are going well especially the mushrooms.

I really like the LR that were attached to. A lot of coralline algae and hitchhikers, especially a small brittle star and a lot of fanworms and another mushroom! though under observation pa since there may be bad critters...

I went to Cartimar 3 days ago with my sister and decided to buy 2 corals and a fish. But my sister wanted to buy another fish para "hindi alone ang fish ko". I was kinda' reluctant kase I cannot keep more than 1 fish in a 5 gallon setup but I have to give in kase she was supposed to treat me for LS.

I strolled into Bioresearch yesterday and I found the ideal filter for my pico - Hagen Aquaclear 70! Unfortunately, the thing is insanely expensive! - P2750.00 hmmmm... magiipon talaga ako sa pasukan... sana andun pa yun by the time I saved enough...

After for about a week of not updating on my tank, here's my recent FTS. Having a diatom "breakout"! I'll probably get CUC for this...

My fish is only a Bowtie Damsel but he is still under observation since I just read that they are reef safe but "keep with caution" as they nip soft corals if they are not well fed. He is from Fish Land and though it cost me P100, he is not a picky eater. Right now he eats the flakes from the LFS but I will feed him with better foods soon.

Here's my goniopora. It's my sisters pick but It's going to be my first and last goniopora since I've read that they do not last long in the aquarium. So far, the polyps are opening and extending


My colony of button polyps. They open up nice and well. I'll upgrade my lighting soon para makita ko yung "neon" colors niya.


The rock on my mushroom coral accidentally broke off but none of the polyps are affected. My largest one started splitting up and I have 2 new polyps!



Any suggestions for a coral to replace my gonio and a CUC for my Diatoms? Siguradong mabubusog sila sa dami!
