Based on studies, most of the saltwater aquarium fishes are found in the Indo-pacific/Philippine area. Should we not be proud of this? Of course dynamite fishing, cyanide, and other destructive fishing methods destroyed most of our reefs kaya sayang nga talaga...

I support our local fish. Lots of beautiful fish here in our seas. Sana lang may regulation kung gaano karami puede kunin. But heck, this is the Philippines anyway. Sad reality. Also sa corals, everyday marami kumukuha at naninira sa mga reefs. But, who's making a move anyway. Sorry sa OT.

Local colorful fishes magaganda! Wala namang difference pag imported except for the unbelievable high price dahil sa patong ng mga local sellers to recoup investment.

Ano kleseng mga corals gusto nyo? There's a scheduled delivery on friday night of corals, live rock, and fishes.

We have many good laws when it comes to environmental protection. The problem is implementation. There's not enough funds going into the implementation of the said laws. Marine Central always supports the responsible collection of fishes, corals, and other livestock. There's a lot of beautiful fishes here in the Philippines, but cyanide use is still rampant. Marine Central never supports fish collection by cyanide.

For some reason, after your NSW was put into my tank, sobrang likot ng shark ko which is unusual. Kasi dati saltmix gamit ko, lagi lang siya asa likod ng tank except feeding time. Which is really lame! haha! I think NSW is better for sharks. Anyway, it's good to hear that you're not supporting cyanide. And sana maregulate din pagkuha ng corals. Yung ibang LFS kasi, maraming corals kinukuha masyado and some are put to waste. Corals doesnt reproduce fast. In my 6 years of diving, the corals ive seen since 2005 and 2010, are way way different. Ngayon, nag bleableaching na sila and yung ibang reefs are heavily damaged.
