In order for the anaerobes to survive they will try to eat up all the Oxygen in the water. so yung water natin sank has always oxygen in it as the chemical formula shows H2O. you have 2 moleculs of hydrogen for every oxygen. Enough na yun for your bacteria to grow. No need to feed the anaerobes. However if you expose anaerobes to too much oxygen mamatay din sila kaya hindi na kailangan e feed. The more sealed your coil denitrator is, the better. you need to have at least 200 pcs of bioballs inside your coil to increase the surface area for the anaerobes to cling on to. my set up is a water container from the water dispenser with a coil of 80 meters inside and 350 pcs of bioballs. Its running for almost 1 year and a half at a rate of 90 drops per minute. Zero nitrate is coming out from the denitrator. No feeding being done.
