Bumili nko ng pang inject pra sa aiptasia. Anyone try this using suka, ano resulta, hindi ba mgging acidic yung water?

I've tried vinegar, hydrogen peroxide and even kalkwasser paste, the success rates are all 50/50. Some return but a lot smaller and some do die. They will multiply if you leave them in the sump or the tank.

I've seen my peppermint shrimp in action, they dig out every last piece of aiptasia and eats them. Copper Band Butterflies are supposed to be good with aiptasia as well but mine just ate the feather dusters and then starved to death without touching the aiptasias. :shock:

yes, try mo lahat reefaddict. lemon juice is ok din daw. of course, if you can find a peppermint, ayus din

if you're patient, you can scrub the affected liverock with a worn-out tootbrush (not in the tank ofcourse) until you're pretty sure you've detached or removed the aiptasia. this can be tricky and difficult because the aiptasia may withdraw into the rock, making it very difficult to remove it. if that happens, use a knife to sort of bore a hole into the rock until you are successful. this may be tedius, but it works. and do it quick before they go out of control.
