Colonial hyroids?? seriously?

As i stare at my tank every evening i notice sa gilid ng live rock ko, meron parang feather duster na maliit pa lang. 3 to be exact i ignored them. Then napapansin ko parang nadami ng nadami, then now i notice parang isang colony na sya. Mejo malayo sya sa glass and i cant take a pic of it because i dont have a camera. But as im searching the net for some stuff related sa hobby natin i recognize a familiar pic. and read about it and it looks like a Colonial hyroid. Sabi they sting daw. Whats your take on this guys?! Cant take a pic so i googled some photos and eto yung pinaka malapet na nahanap ko. Only difference is yung saken parang violet or dark green ung duster. Thanks guys!

The closest pic i can get sa google mine is like a dark green or violet yung duster. tried pulling it out earlier, got a little kaso madami pa din. masyado madikit sa LR. Tsk! http://www.google.com.ph/imgres?q=colon ... =102&ty=78

meron din ako nito bro, ambilis nga nila dumami. di ko mapa ID kasi ang liliit eh. low quality pa naman cam ko. pero salamat sa ID. sa ngayon tumigil na sila sa pagdami. probably nasa 12 na sila.

If it really is colonial hydroids, try squirting them with kalkwasser paste, that should get rid of them. But better make sure because theres a chance theyre just really small tube worms which are harmless!

i think i also have them in my tank,color green,they spread pretty fast,if they are colonial hydroids, can i remove them manually? i mean is it safe(wont they spread like crazy just like aiptasia,when u tear them apart,the torn pieces will regenerate/grow into a new aip)?
