What to do after disease outbreak..

Please don't scold me, it will be the last time I will buy fishes from Cartimar haha . After the green Chromis (cartimar) died, one by one my fishes had gone to heaven.

I noticed that one by one they have the following symptoms before dying:

In order
1. Loss of appetite
2. Hiding, staying in one spot, heavy breathing
3. My Yellow tang had his stomach (not so good appearance) rotting or something.
4. Blue tang with developed white spots

I bought last weekend a clown fish about 2 inches from bio research and its eating naman.

It also died after three days. Even my clown fishes died.

I had prepared a hospital tank for the other remaining fishes ayun patay din.

1. HOspital tank at hyposalinity, mixed salt water with water changes plus methylene blue at low dosage

The changes in the hospital tank are done moderately.

Others

1. Snails, cleaner shrimps and corals are all ok.
2. Now my aquarium has no fish.

What should I do with the main tank and sump?

I'm thinking of the following options:
1. Change 95 % water, but NSW

Extreme:
1. Clean all the tanks and LR - another cycling for a month.

Setup
75 gallon main
2 pcs 50 gallons sump
(1 tank LR and other tank deep sand bed)
RO 150 skimmer
Return Rio HF
Pumps Main: Sunsun Pumps

Thanks in advance!

Where your fish "scratching" along the rocks? You could have been a victim of ICH or OODINIUM. ICH is a very common disease. Corals or inverts are not EFFECTED by ICH.

ICH has 3 stages: egg (white spots), larvae, and free swimming

If you have no fish in the aquarium, DONT ADD any for 6 weeks. the ICH life cycle is 21 days. Best to play it safe and DOUBLE the days.
NO HOST (FISH) ICH cant survive.

Do a water 20% change every week for at least 3 weeks (aids in removal of ICH in all 3 stages).

I suggest you QT your fish before adding them to your display (main aquarium).

I've lost sooooo many fish to ICH, just because I decided NOT to QT and add the fish to the display right away.....

Hope this helps...
